NHK国際で制作されている、東京を紹介する海外向け番組Tokyoeyeのセットデザインを担当させていただきました。普段セットデザインといえばバーチャルセットのデザインばかりだったので、今回は勉強になりました。コンセプトは東京を紹介するミュージアム、ＭＣのクリスペプラーさんはそのミュージアムのキュレーター。
実際のスタジオのサイズなどを考慮して、こんな感じでＣＧでシミュレーションしてみたものの、これを実際のセットに落とし込む作業はさすがに経験がありません。今回はNHKデザインセンター様、NHKアート様に大変お世話になりました。

I was in charge of set design for the show Tokyo eye, an NHK show targeted towards overseas viewers introducing Tokyo. This was an opportunity for study, as all set design was virtual. The concept revolves around a museum introducing Tokyo, with host Chris Peppler as the museum curator.
I considered the size of the actual studio and tried to simulate the same feeling in CG while not making it the same experience as actually being dropped into the set. I am indebted to the staff at NHK design center, and especially the art department.
