情報番組のロゴマークとオープニング制作。深夜枠ということもあって雑多な感じを出したいというのが、ディレクターの意向でした。もともとガッツリ３Ｄというのは制作していませんが、今回はある程度をモデリングしました。ボツになってしまいましたが、番組マスコットのウサギの頭もモデリング。３ＤレンダリングはAfterEffects内で完結できるのでVideoCopilot Elementを使いました。AfterEffects本体の３Ｄ機能とElementで大抵のことは済んでしまっています。グラフィックカードのパワーでレンダリングも行うので高速に計算もできます。用途にもよると思いますが、自分のようにデザインの中の表現として３Ｄを使う場合は速度や効率の面で３Ｄパッケージで何かを作るより、クリエイティブに集中できるかもしれません。立体物の動きもElementで行いました。

Logo and opening intro to the TV show. This show is a late night show, so the director wanted to give the intro an unorganized feel to catch people’s attention. I didn’t have much 3D experience, but this time I tried to model to a certain extent. I also modeled the rabbit mascot’s head. I used Video Copilot Element 3D After Effects plugin. Most things were done with the 3D function of Element, and the main After Effects program itself. Since it renders with the graphics card, it can be rendered extremely quickly. Depending on the application, I believe that the 3D package is an extremely creative, and efficient way to express designs like these. The animation for the opening was also done in Element.
